Make unresolved choices visible: parking-brake mechanism, axle flange, caliper bolt spacing, disc size and which hardware stays outside the kit.
Specify sets and list pieces per set. A rear disc brake conversion kit may be one axle or two corners; write the counting basis. List calipers, brackets, discs, hoses, hardware and parking-brake parts that must sit inside the quoted price.
Optional currency and per-kit or order-total budget inform tradeoffs among surface finish, included hydraulics and sample cost. Absence of a number does not block the inquiry.
Premium, mid-range, economy or undecided are buyer choices, not verified ratings. Ask the producer to declare new versus remanufactured status and any core charge separately.
Ask about samples, Incoterms, destination ZIP handling and remaining fitment questions: thread pitch on banjo bolts, bore diameter of the caliper, bolt pattern and overall disc diameter. Request supplier declaration that documents apply to the quoted kit only.
Drum-in-hat, integrated caliper lever and cable geometry are different scopes. If the present axle uses a drum parking brake, require a written list of included levers, cables and remaining buyer-side work. Do not treat a kit title as installation authorization.
